I told a different version of this joke at work. Coworker that was off for vacation asked did you miss me? I replied yes but I was getting a scope. I had the local police show up at my door asking about the “incident ” at work. I was questioned at my front door. I got a 3 day suspension while the incident was investigated. Got to have a meeting with HR, my supervisor, and the plant manager. NO I AM NOT KIDDING. Interesting day to say the least.
